The Club at Uplands — More Than Just a Clubhouse

At Unscripted Interior Design, we believe the most memorable spaces are the ones that feel intentional yet effortless—where every detail has a purpose and every moment invites connection. In collaboration with Tarragon, the Club at Uplands was designed with exactly that in mind: a warm, welcoming retreat that balances modern sophistication with lived-in comfort, the perfect backdrop for life's most special moments.
From the moment you enter, the space sets a calm and elevated tone. A soft, neutral palette anchors the design, allowing texture, form, and materiality to take center stage. Plush seating in a bright cream upholstery creates an inviting foundation, while sculptural silhouettes and curved profiles soften the overall architecture and encourage you stay a little longer and enjoy the atmosphere.
Throughout the clubhouse, layering plays a critical role in how the design comes together from the mill work to the hand glazed tiles, to the marble fireplace and more. Contrast is used thoughtfully to add depth and visual interest with wood, leather accents, and playful art grounding the lighter elements. The result? A subtle juxtapostion that feels both modern and timeless. Though these moments of contrast are never overpowering; instead, they quietly elevate the space and guide the eye from room to room.
This clubhouse was designed to serve many purposes: a place to gather, to unwind, to connect, or simply to pause. It reflects our belief that communal spaces should feel just as considered as a private home, offering both beauty and comfort in equal measure.
At its core, this project is a reflection of our brand promise—good humans, good design. By focusing on thoughtful details, balanced contrast, and a sense of ease, we created a clubhouse that feels less like a shared amenity and more like a destination, with spaces that allow you to indulge in life's simple pleasures, just steps from your door.
