With studios in Denver, Colorado and Santa Ana, California and work in more than 25 states, our reach spans nationwide. We bring our whole selves to everything we do, and we believe our clients and collaborators deserve our original point of view—no repeats, nothing less.

Kari Armstrong

CEO, Principal

Great design elements are curated and collected—which is what Kari has been doing for some of the country’s most celebrated interior and merchandising designs for more than 21 years. Kari is most thrilled when her clients are happy, and what excites her is setting aside time every day to be inspired and to create.

Kasey Miller

CFO, Principal

Team members at Unscripted don’t just feel like family: for CFO Kasey, they are family. Her greatest satisfaction is working alongside her sisters, overseeing the finances that allow Unscripted to create things that are even better in person than on paper, and doing all she can to support the people in those numbers.

Kate Pourhassanian

COO, Principal

Parlaying 17 years of marketing and development in the beauty industry into interior design and merchandising seemed like a natural evolution to Kate—and proved to be so. Today she finds beauty in being collaborative, creative, and inspirational and firmly believes in empowering the entire team at every turn.

Wendy Welsh

After spending more than 10 years at Unscripted and almost double that in the industry, Wendy finds inspiration by learning something new every day. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to be surrounded by amazing clients and a talented team that she’s continually grateful for.

For more than 20 years Kimberly has had two main professional priorities: team collaboration and exceeding expectations. While her personal style may be described as Soft Modern, creating innovative designs that are true to her clients’ needs are a real thing of beauty.

From the BIA of Southern California, to opening showrooms and curating human-centric experience centers for Sub-Zero Wolf and Fisher & Paykel appliances, Melissa loves all things homebuilding and design. She combines that love with a natural gift for connecting with clients and ensuring our work exceeds their expectations.
