In the age of remote working and installations that take us jet-setting in different directions, we make sure we don’t take for granted our favorite part of the job—our Unscripted family. From in-person happy hours, sharing our favorite ideas, to just catching up—we like to take time to get together and celebrate.
Once a year we treat ourselves to a two-day Unscripted shindig. Teams from our Colorado HQ and California Studio gather for extra special, uninterrupted bonding time. We spend 363 days of the year working hard and take these two days to cheers our accomplishments for the year.
At our recent retreat, new team members and seasoned Rockstars met in person for the first time this year! We talked the latest design trends and celebrated our favorite moments of the year—and everyone fell in love with Denver's fall foliage (hello, cozy sweater weather!).

Good Food + Good Company
Day one, we kicked off the morning talking about our achievements over a yummy breakfast! We catered Snooze and passed around fun swag bags to show our appreciation to our staff. After that a party bus picked us up to kickstart a night full of fun!
Our first stop was Cart-Driver LoHi, Denver’s favorite Neapolitan pizza spot. The restaurant mixes contemporary style with classic Italian neighborhood charm. The entire experience was... chef’s kiss.
Meow We're Talking
Next, we stepped into an immersive art collective at Meow Wolf. Their interactive exhibits feature a huge range of media including sculpture, painting, fabrication, digital art, and more. The icing on the cake? Meow Wolf makes sure to prioritize collaborating with local artists.
Sippin' Pretty
Topping off the night, sweet sips at Mexican cantina, Ghost Donkey. Mucho good times and crafty cocktails were had amongst the twinkle lights and neon accents.
Another Day in Paradise
Day two, we put up our feet, snacked on some popcorn, and took in a show. The vintage vibes of Don’t Worry Darling were the perfect inspiration for us. The scenery focuses on juxtaposing 1950s California style with a futurist aesthetic—creating a unique desert oasis.

Post-movie, we lunched at Unscripted favorite Los Dos Potrillos. Voted the best-of-the-best in Centennial, Colorado, this real deal Mexican eatery serves up food as colorful as their cocktails. Where else can you find a margarita tree?
