Unscripted Interior Design
Another Huge Announcement for Unscripted Interior Design!
We have hired a new Director of Business Development.
Introducing Melissa Auten… Melissa Auten has over 25 years of marketing and business development experience. She has held various positions at multiple companies that have radically impacted the trajectory of her career. Born and raised in Orange County, CA Auten has spent her lifetime interested in homebuilding and design. With years of experience, coupled with her impressive resume, Auten’s professional acumen and engaging personality have made her a perfect fit for Unscripted Interior Design.
Her professional career soared during her time at the Auto Club of Southern California, AAA's, largest affiliate club, where she held multiple marketing and business development positions culminating as the Advertising Director for Westways Magazine. She led multi-function teams that created successful ad sales, tradeshow experiences, and uniformed customer service touchpoints within their retail stores.
She then transitioned into a position in the Building Industry Association of Southern California where she collaborated with members on countless campaigns to promote the benefits of buying new homes. From there, BIA member companies Sub-Zero Wolf and most recently Fisher & Paykel appliances, tapped into Melissa’s broad knowledge of homebuilding for the opening of their new showrooms and direct builder sales. Melissa jumped at the chance to create a human-centric experience center where homebuyers gained confidence to purchase the right products for their lifestyle.
“When I’m not working I am spending family time at sporting events or volunteering in the various associations apart of my beloved industry. I love giving back and do so as a member of BIASC, BIASD and ASID to name a few."
We are so excited to have such a talented and hardworking individual spear head our business development department. Auten is a fabulous addition to our team and we are incredibly lucky to have her. And don’t worry—she’ll be reaching out soon! ;)
